Ms. Randolph is a fifth grade teacher at Benefield Elementary. She is the sponsor of the Step Team*.
Nightly and Weekly Reminders:
-Please help your child nightly with their homework and sign their agenda which will contain their assignments as well as conduct for the current day.
-Every Friday students will bring home their Friday Folders with school announcements and graded work. Please review these items to maintain the connection between home and school.
-Keep track of your child's progress by checking the Parent Portal.
Important Things to Remember:
All fifth grade students will take the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS)* administered in April. GMAS provides criterion reference performance information depicting students' mastery of state standards. It even provides norm reference performance information to depict student achievement on a national scale.
The End of Grade (EOG) assessment focuses on language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Various parts of the assessment will contain multiple choice, constructed response, and extended response (written components).
